Kildonan’s WeCare is a free telephone financial support information service for families with children and young people living with cancer.

When a child or young person is diagnosed with cancer it can have a big impact on a family’s financial circumstances. Speaking with a financial counsellor early in your child’s illness can help you put plans in place to avoid financial distress later on.

Our fully qualified and experienced financial counsellors will provide you with independent and informed advice on:

Assessing your financial situation
Managing existing financial commitments
Understanding your rights and entitlements in relation to Government payments, concessions and grants
Information regarding legal demands for rent, mortgage or credit card payments
Referrals to other support services or face to face financial counselling
